Tip #10: One thing at a time

Tip #10: One thing at a time

While sleeping, a lot of important processes are happening inside our bodies - tissue repairs, immune regulation, memory consolidation, increase in muscle strength and more…

One of the most competitive processes is digestion. Our digestive system is a huge drama queen, it consumes much of the blood supply, takes a lot of energy and mainly asks the body to consider it first. Well, as you can probably imagine, this is a real competition for our sleeping processes.

This week’s tip is to try and finish your dinner at least two hours before going to bed, while avoiding after-dinner snacking. Give your digestive system the time and place to be first, just not instead of other systems, organs and tissues.
