The trendline isn’t linear - and we like that!

Adding new lifestyle habits might have a crucial role in improving overall well-being and health status. While it can be challenging to make lasting changes, setting a personal example is a powerful motivation to keep trying. On our journey towards better healthy well-being, we wish to share the tips that keep us going and hopefully inspire and encourage your positive transformations. 


The good news is that once understanding the benefits of making a change in your sleeping habits, the hard part is actually over. In order to maintain and stick to the progress, there are some things you might want to adapt right from the start:


Try to keep consistency by creating a supportive environment, for example award yourself something for every week in which you kept your choice ongoing. You might even find it helpful to use a planner and mark your little victories along the way. Celebrating milestones can really increase your odds of succeeding in the process. 


Dedicate a moment to phrase your goal, and keep being transparent with your surroundings about your struggles and process. Nobody makes a lifestyle change in the blink of an eye, try to share your thoughts and feelings during your journey.


Pay attention to the positive effects your choices have on your environment. Your choices are being made in the context of circumstances that usually influence others choices, and by only making a different choice than usual’ you might create the settings for others to make new choices, too.


Consider this a practice of your self discipline, as every change we choose to endorse new habits into our lives. Try to balance your immediate desires and your healthy choices by planning ahead your schedule, also mentioning the big wins, for example when will you start feeling the change for the better. 


On your journey you will probably discover that taking care of yourself by keeping your healthy habits and healthy choices actually sets an amazing example to the people surrounding you, whether they are your partner, your kids, your friends or your colleagues. A positive effect and a better selfcare approach might appear all around you without you even being aware of it.
