As part of our journey towards a better sleep, we wish to upgrade our sleep hygiene. An important part of our sleeping hygiene, beside creating the ultimate environmental conditions, is our body positioning during sleep.
Try to choose a new sleeping position to embrace into your sleeping habits kit and you’ll probably feel the change. For example, combine side-sleeping with your usual position for a week and check if you get a gut-related relief, or try to place a pillow below your lower back when supine sleeping and check your balance and back pain within a few days.
If you’re spooners, try to find a compatible pillow for the bigger spoon’s hand to prevent aches and numbness. And for the huggers of you, try to switch sides every once in while to make sure each of you get their left-sided advantages.
