When I think about going back to school I always remember the last few days of the summer vacation. I had so many thoughts and fears of the upcoming unknown, what will this year be like?
When I think about kids and teenagers now going through this process I wish them to have the tools to seize opportunities and fulfill their potential.
Growing up means having so many things going on every minute of every day, dealing with both intellectual and social challenges, while we expect them to gain the best education for them. This is exactly why we have the responsibility to have proper sleep education.
Sleep is shown to be a key factor in a healthy well-being, physically and mentally, throughout countless studies. Being crucial for memory consolidation, concentration, alertness, decision making and coherence of thought and speech - sleep has to be treated with respect.
Unlike many wellness upgrades, it’s not just about the privilege of having a better sleep. Low quality of sleep actually damages the abilities mentioned above and creates this “evil circle” of lose-lose situations.
Taking care of your loved ones’ quality of sleep will enable them to wake up easily on time, refreshed and alert, to stay focused while learning new things and discovering new fields of interest, keeping persistence with their hobbies and personal relationships and most of all - be healthy, and feel accordingly.
Whether we discuss children of elementary school, high school or youth in the age of college, the only difference between them will be the exact amount of time they are recommended to sleep in order to be at their best. For further information about the recommended amount of sleep read more here.
Providing them with a holistic solution to reduce EMF radiation while blocking blue light through the night, yet allowing them to use their phone’s alarm, any meditation app or enjoy music that helps them fall asleep.
Wishing you an easy back-to-school
