Tip #5: Become holistic

This week’s tip is about the relationship between relieving stress and a high quality sleep. Mental health and the quality of sleep are a two way street, as stress can cause serious changes in the quality of sleep, bad sleep can also be a cause of increasing stress and anxiety. If you feel like your mind is occupied with a load of thoughts and worries along with a deterioration in your sleep, treating any of them might get you into a better loop of improving both aspects of your health.

Here are few ways to reduce stress and anxiety:

  • Meeting a therapist to cope mechanisms to manage restlessness 
  • Practicing mindfulness to engage new points of view and know yourself better
  • Enriching your fields of interest to empower yourself
  • Physical activity to keep you moving and release endorphins
  • Meditations to learn relaxation techniques
