Tip #2: Stretching

Tip #2: Stretching

It’s a new week, It’s a new tip! And this time we wanted to advise you to stretch up a little bit!

Allow your muscles to relax and get longer every once in a while, considering that most of us spend most of our time sitting, standing or in any kind of physical effort. Statistics are pointing to a massive increase in the amount of jobs being done by sitting, showing that more than 80% of Americans work while sitting down.

During a day at the office, our muscles collaborate with gravity to sink down in the chair, putting pressure on our skeleton & muscles. Those of us who find the time to exercise and move a little bit, naturally choose a workout that eventually contracts our muscles. Therefore, the time invested in stretching our muscles and lengthening them is somewhere close to none.

In your journey toward balance, try also balancing between different states of your body, and muscles in particular.
